Lionel began the practice in the mid 1970's of making Christmas cars for each year, and has continued to do so since then! Originally limited to just one box car each year, the practice was expanded to several cars per year of all different varieties. Here's our stock of older Christmas and holiday cars from prior years. Always collectable and colorful, they make for a unique array of interesting trains! Most will be brand new in boxes, but occasionaly there might be a car here that was used and is not brand new and is not specified as such. These can easily be returned to us if they're not to your liking!
